    First, take our online hearing test to see if you're a candidate for Lively. Once you place your order, we'll program your hearing aids based on your test and ship them right to your door.

    Once you receive your hearing aids, you'll meet with a licensed audiologist via Zoom video calls to answer any questions and make sure you're up and running. You'll also connect your hearing aids to our free smartphone app, so that your audiologist can adjust your settings for you remotely.   • Lively hearing aids are for adults with mild to moderately severe hearing loss. You must be 18+ and live within the United States. At this time, we do not serve Oregon or West Virginia. Lively is not for those experiencing sudden changes to your hearing, which may require medical attention from an ENT doctor.

  • Lively offers medical-grade, FDA-approved hearing aids — not amplifiers. Our high-tech hearing aids are programmed specifically for your hearing profile under the supervision of a licensed audiologist. It's the same technology and care you would receive from a traditional audiology office, but from the comfort of home.

  • We offer two hearing aid models — Battery-Powered and Rechargeable. Our Battery-Powered model is $1,450 and comes with a year supply of batteries.   • Yes — you need a compatible smartphone or tablet so that a Lively audiologist can adjust your hearing aids remotely through our free app. Check out our list of compatible devices here. For older Android phones, we offer the Android Phone Clip+ for direct streaming to your hearing aids.

  • Both of our hearing aid models are Bluetooth-enabled, which means you can connect your hearing aids to your smartphone to stream calls and music right to your ears. Bluetooth also allows you to connect to the Lively app, turning your phone into a remote control. With the Lively app, you can easily turn up the volume, adjust your settings, and receive convenient remote adjustments from your audiologist — all from the palm of your hand.

  • You sure can! Many of our customers wear hearing aids and glasses together comfortably. While there may be an adjustment period, a properly fitting hearing aid will stay put. Our tip is to avoid glasses with particularly thicker arms.

  • When you receive your hearing aids in the mail, they're already pre-programmed for your specific hearing loss. But to get your hearing 100% right, you'll work with a licensed audiologist via 1-on-1 Zoom video calls for minor adjustments, which you'll download remotely through the Lively smartphone app. If you ever have a sound issue, you can also request a remote adjustment through the app, in real time. So no more trips to an office for easy tweaks to your hearing.

    Heading to a noisy restaurant or outdoor park? The Lively app features 4 pre-set programs to adjust your settings to your current listening environment (All-Around, Restaurant, Outdoors, or Music). The app also offers 'quick actions' to filter noise or focus on speech — helping you easily tweak your settings on the fly.

  • Yes! Before we ship your hearing aids to you, a licensed hearing professional will program your hearing aids to your specific needs based on the results from your online hearing test or recent audiogram.

Pricing

  • Lively is just $1,450 for our Battery-Powered hearing aids and $2,000 for our Rechargeable hearing aids — about 1/2 the average national price of a traditional in-person clinic. Both models include 3 years of remote audiology care and tech support, Bluetooth streaming, and our free smartphone app. For those who qualify, we also offer easy and affordable financing options through our partner Bread.

  • Our FDA-approved hearing aids are identical to those sold at brick-and-mortar audiologist offices — but through our direct online model — we're able to cut out the middleman and pass the savings on to you. We've found that our hearing aids are about 1/2 of the national average price of a traditional in-person clinic. Here's a helpful article that explains how hearing aids are priced in the industry.

  • We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as well as PayPal and FSA/HSA payment methods. Through our partner Bread, we also offer financing options with low monthly payments.

  • That depends on your insurance plan and coverage. If your plan does cover all or part of your hearing aids, we'll provide you with the necessary receipts and documentation needed to submit a claim for reimbursement. The best way to verify your coverage is to call your health insurance provider directly. Our Care Team is also happy to walk you through it — feel free to contact us any time.

  • We partner with Bread to offer more affordable financing options for both models. Payment plans start at just $47/month*, with zero money down and 0% APR or interest for 36 months available. For questions about financing, you can always reach out to us.

  • Yes! We accept FSA and HSA payment methods. Our Care Team can also help you split up credit/debit card and HSA or FSA payments — simply reach out to us.

Ordering

  • No — all you need to do is take our 5-minute online hearing test to see if you're a candidate and establish a baseline to program your hearing aids. Once you receive your hearing aids, a Lively audiologist will adjust your settings remotely through our smartphone app.

    If you already have an audiogram, you're welcome to upload it instead of taking the online test. Learn more about our hearing test here.

  • Here's everything included with your Lively order:

    • 1-year supply of batteries (Battery-Powered), or a Charging Case with cord (Rechargeable)

  • For the best camouflage, we recommend selecting a color that closely matches your hair color. If you don't have enough hair to cover them, match your skin tone instead. Rest assured that no matter which color you choose, we've found that our small devices are still barely noticeable.

  • Once you've taken our online hearing test and placed your order, your hearing aids should arrive within 3-5 days. Your email receipt will include shipping and tracking information.

    Note that our audiology team will review your results for any red flags, so we may reach out to you to discuss your results before we ship your hearing aids, which may add a couple of days. We also won't be able to ship your hearing aids until you take our online hearing test or upload a recent audiogram. For questions about ordering, reach out any time.

  • If you're not fully satisfied with Lively within 100 days, we'll refund your entire order — with free shipping and no restocking fees. Returns are easy, simply call (800) 854 2772 or email [email protected]

  • Lively hearing aids come with a 3-year warranty. So if there's an issue with your hearing aids, simply reach out to our Care Team and we'll help you replace them.   • Life happens, so we've included a 3-year loss & damage warranty with your hearing aids. If your hearing aid is lost, stolen, or damaged while still under warranty, simply reach out to our Care Team and we'll help you replace them. Please note, there is a $195 per device deductible. Hearing Test

  • Lively's research-backed hearing test was created by our team of leading audiologists. Designed to be taken online from the comfort of home, our test provides us with enough information to create your personal hearing profile and program your hearing aids before we ship them to you. A test at an in-person audiology office, on the other hand, will also identify any potential medical conditions. However, if your results from our test indicate any medical conditions beyond common hearing loss, we may advise you to seek further care.

  • We've tested a number of commonly used headphones and earbuds, and all of them performed adequately for our online hearing test. As long as your headphones are functioning properly, we're confident they'll work just fine. Note that we do not recommend taking the test with speakers instead of headphones.   • After you complete our online hearing test, a Care Team member will review your results and program your hearing aids under the supervision of a licensed audiologist. Note that we program your hearing aids with baseline settings, so once you receive your hearing aids, you'll work with an audiologist to fine-tune them as needed.

  • Yes! If you have a recent audiogram, take our survey to see if you're a candidate and select 'Upload your audiogram' instead of taking the hearing test. Just note that a Care Team member may reach out to you if we still need more info.

Follow-up Care

  • Once you receive your hearing aids, you'll enjoy 3 years of follow-up audiology care and technical support. For your first appointment, we'll connect you to a licensed audiologist via video conference, like Zoom or FaceTime. After you're all set-up, you can request easy, on-demand adjustments through the Lively app, as often as you like. And if you ever have an issue, our friendly Care Team is a phone call away.

    Remote audiology offers the same care as a traditional doctor's office, but from the comfort of your couch.

  • Yes! With your included 3 years of remote care, our dedicated support team is available 7 days a week via phone, chat, or email. While we make everything easy with video tutorials and our Quick Start Guide, we're happy to walk you through every technical step, like how to pair your hearing aids to your phone. To connect with a team member, reach out any time or schedule a video appointment by logging into your account.

  • Once you connect your hearing aids to the Lively app via Bluetooth, you can request a remote adjustment, from anywhere. No need to come into an office or make an appointment. In the app, simply answer a few questions to tell us about the sound issue, then an audiologist will adjust your settings for you within 24 hours. When your audiologist sends you the new settings in the app, you'll download them to your devices and start hearing better instantly.

  • Your Lively Kit comes with everything you need for proper cleaning and maintenance, like wax guards, extra earbuds, and a cloth and brush. We also have helpful video guides, like how to clean your hearing aids and how to change the wax filters.
